The Sherman Town Board met in regular session Tuesday, July 1, 2014, 7:30 p.m. at the Sherman Town Hall with Lee Ellis presiding.

Members present: Lee Ellis, Gerry Karpen, Bill Benson, Cheryl Swenson and Robin Berg

Others present: Ellen Karpen, Kara Duncan, Toby Brown, Kenneth and Linda Askren

ROUTINE BUSINESS: Minutes of the June 3, 2013, meeting were approved as read, Motion by; Karpen, Second by; Benson.

The treasurer’s report was approved as read, approved as read. Motion by; Karpen, Second by; Ellis.

CLAIMS APPROVED TO BE PAID: Xcel Energy, street light $251.41; park light $17.82; town hall light $30.67; Minnehaha Community Water, June water $25.00; Anderson Publications, May min. $14.60; Alcoholic Beverage License, $150.00; Bill Benson, parts for chimney $25.00;Palisdes Propane, propane $152.94; Bolts Sunrise, 2 dumpsters $567.60; Dean Hammer, zoning ordinance $70.00, 2012 & 2013 dues $40.00; L.G. Everist 2 loads of gravel $211.82; Bill Benson, 2x mowing $80.00; Luke Bonte, 3x mowing $90.00; Joel Swenson, 4x mowing $140.00; Robin Berg, 5x mowing $150.00; 

OLD BUSINESS: Bullet Malt Beverage License, Karpen made a Motion, to approve Malt Beverage License, second by; Benson.

Tree Removal over street ways, Karpen will draft a letter to Sherman residence.

NEW BUSINESS:

Berg submitted to the board a summary for July 2013 to June 2014 Revenue and Expenditures for 2014.

Motion by; Ellis to adjourn, second by Karpen,
