The Sherman Town Board met in regular session Tuesday July 7, 2020 @ 7:30pm.

Members Present: Lee Ellis, Darrin Trower, Gerry Karpen and Cheryl Swenson.

Ellis, called the meeting to order.

Routine Business:

Approval of the agenda- motion by Karpen to approval the agenda, 2^nd by Trower—all ayes, motion carried.

Minutes of the June 2, 2020 meeting were read—Karpen made a motion to approve the minutes as read, 2^nd by Trower—all ayes, motion carried.

The Treasurers report was read—Karpen made a motion to approve the Treasurers report as read, 2^nd by Trower—all ayes, motion carried

Claims Approved to be paid:

Minnehaha Community Water $30.00 water , Xcel Energy $274.75 street lights, $27.58 park lights, $31.96 town hall lights, Garretson Gazette $25.25 May minutes $144.66 2020-01 ordinance, Dell Rapids Law Firm $40.00 annual dues $300.00 legal fees, Department of Revenue $150.00 alcoholic Beverage License, Bill Benson $120.00 3x mowing, Darrin Trower $80.00 2x mowing Strom Park $60.00 2x mowing city lot.

Old Business:

1. Town clean-up days-Land fill still not taking clean up days at this time.

2. Town Hall Eaves- started on front of building-need to put up eaves

New Business:

1. Sherman Centennial Sign- needs to be repainted. Will take down for now and relocated it later. Motion by Karpen to take down sign, 2^nd by Trower, all ayes, motion carried.

2. Hydraulic oil and oil for grader. Karpen made a motion to buy hydraulic oil for $177.00 and oil for $144.00, 2^nd by Trower, all ayes, motion carried.

Ellis made a motion to adjourn meeting, 2^nd by Karpen—all ayes, motion carried.

The next regular meeting will be August 4, 2020 @ 7:30pm
