The Sherman Town Board met in regular session Tuesday, March 4, 2014, 7:30 p.m. at the Sherman Town Hall with Lee Ellis presiding.

Members present: Lee Ellis, Gerry Karpen, Bill Benson, Cheryl Swenson and Robin Berg

Others present: Kara Duncan, Ellen Karpen, Keith Gundersen, Toby Brown, Kenneth and Linda Askren

ROUTINE BUSINESS: Minutes of the February 4, 2013, meeting were approved as read, Motion by; Karpen, second by; Benson.

The treasurer’s report was approved as read. Motion by; Karpen, second by; Benson.

CLAIMS APPROVED TO BE PAID: Xcel Energy, street light $264.44; park light $18.49; town hall light $44.40; Minnehaha Community Water, Feb. water $25.00; Palisades Propane, propane $34.89; Lucas Swenson, 4hrs plowing $48.00, Jesse James, 23.8 gal of diesel $95.33; Anderson Publications, Dec. Min $15.00, Jan Min. $14.90, notice of vacancy, $9.00; Lee Ellis, pizza and juice for party $26.11; SDML, insurance $607.00;

OLD BUSINESS: Toby Brown presented a draft on the 2014 Revised Sherman Zoning Regulations.

The Zoning Administrator was made a paid position at $200 per year.

Nominating Petition accepted from Lee Ellis.

NEW BUSINESS: The 2013 Annual Report was presented to the Board by Berg, Karpen, made a motion to approve the 2013 Annual Report, Berg asked for vote 3 ayes 0 nays motion carried.

Bids for mowing are now being accepted.
